Attraction Lab at The Intrepid (NYC)

I’m co-hosting this Guerilla Science event at The Intrepid. It’s an interactive evening where I, a comedian, and Jana Grcevich, a scientist, lead the audience in a series of interactive experiments to learn how “sight, touch, taste, smell and movement influence romantic desires, and how you can spice up date night.” The whole thing takes place under the Space Shuttle Enterprise and I can pretty much guarantee it won’t be like any other show you go to this year. No Hard Feelings book release (NYC)

Join co-authors Liz Fosslien and Mollie West Duffy to celebrate the launch of their illustrated book No Hard Feelings: The Secret Power of Embracing Emotions at Work. The book is a visual exploration of how to embrace emotion at work without letting it run wild, and answers questions like: Where’s the line between sharing and oversharing at work? How should we deal with a colleague who constantly interrupts us? How can we create a culture of belonging? And is it possible that caring less about our jobs could be the key to success?

Quiet's best-selling author Susan Cain says No Hard Feelings is "a must-read that topples the idea that emotions don't belong in the workplace." The book has also received advance praise from best-selling authors including Adam Grant, Laszlo Bock, Chris Voss, and Kim Scott.

The evening will feature a Q&A with Liz and Mollie, book signings, and several fun emotions-at-work activities (including the opportunity to design your own stress ball). Details and FREE tickets here

My play is on the opening night, Monday, August 27, but all of the nights of  the festival are going to be great, so if you can't come Monday come another day. Buy tickets here
